On behalf of organizers of CREST-supported symposium, I plan to have a theme-oriented symposium in December. As the title of the symposium represents, all speakers will talk about the homeostatic regulation of development or impairment of homeostasis in diseases to focus on how systemic coordination functions to control inter-cellular and inter-organ communications. I believe that all talks will help the attendee to understand how we recognize “homeostasis in living creatures”. Because the speakers are really experts of this field and actively/extensively study this fundamental biological issues, I believe that participants will get ideas and hints for their further research. We look forward to seeing you in Tokyo.
